I've just opened a Twitter account. What the fuck has happened to me?

I used to be cool.

Now I am a twat. A stupid, stupid internet twat.

Is this what happens to you after a certain amount of time? Do you become one of "them"?

I just want to make cartoons. Why is it like this? Fuck.

Still, Twitter's dying due to Ban Induced Necrosis and Youtube's turning into a naziland pay-per-view channel. I think this is NG's big chance to turn things around.

Man, I hope so!

Maybe it's really up to the artists here to drag their YouTube subscribers back over to NG, instead of the other way around (possibly with NG exclusive releases or premieres).

It could build up the NG viewership and that would benefit all the artists and the site.
Fans would also know where to come for updates from the big hitters.

Maybe there is a way to mobilize the NG troops! We need to lead people back to the Mother-ship!

I remember opening a Twitter account like way back when eCPM or whatever was first introduced and was busted as fuck and people were abusing it to no end. Didn't make a cent.

Anyway don't consider advertising beneath you, what's entertainment without an audience?

Pretty sure that Twitter is old man news, though, all the cool kids are on Instagram and Pinterest. Probably.

You're probably right. There's nothing wrong with a bit of self promotion. It just feels so sleazy trying to whore yourself out. Especially on a website that gave me my first break.

Yeap, sometimes I feel that shit too. I'm not so good at animation like you but sometimes think about self promouting too, but it makes me feel like I'm becoming an... whore :-( .

I know the feeling brother. Being ashamed of promoting something you put months of work into. I just cant shake the feeling of being that guy on youtube that reminds you to subscribe 5 times throughout the video :(

Internet culture is so ugly and depressing! I hate the way we're no longer artists/ cartoonists, instead we're "content providers". Imagine growing up and wanting to be a "content provider".
