Rare ailments, you say?
Well, one of the rarest conditions known to medicine is Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. in which muscles, tendons, and ligaments gradually turn into bone, eventually leaving the afflicted individual completely unable to move; hence the name "Stone Man Syndrome". If you can find humor in something that horrifying, well, color me impressed.

You sir, are quite different. We need more people like you on this planet! Here is one you might be able to use! It's called Elephantiasis. The extreme enlargement of a body part due to a malfunction in the lymphatic vessels! There's been documented reports of people's scrotums swelling to the size of basket balls!

At the moment I'm working on two things which are vaguely disease/ ailment based.
I actually wrote a "script" around the idea of paranoia a while ago and may even have a voice actor interested, so who knows what the future holds!
